Leon Secures Commanding Victory in Monaco F2 Sprint Race

Noel Leon clinched his second F2 win of the season with a decisive performance in Monaco's Sprint Race. Starting from pole, he expertly held his lead throughout the race.

Noel Leon continued his impressive rookie season in Formula 2 with a commanding lights-to-flag victory in the Monte Carlo Sprint Race. Fresh off his maiden win in Canada, the Campos Racing driver made the most of his pole position, expertly fending off Roman Bilinski at the start.

Leon showed his mettle by managing tyre wear effectively, allowing him to fend off all challenges from Bilinski and take the chequered flag for his second consecutive Sprint Race win. Bilinski, from DAMS Lucas Oil, secured his first podium finish in Formula 2, managing to keep Alpine Academy's Gabriele Minì, the current championship leader, at bay to finish in second place.

Joshua Duerksen of Invicta Racing claimed fourth, while another DAMS driver, Dino Beganovic, finished fifth. Martinius Stenshorne rounded out the top six for Rodin Motorsport.

Kush Maini of ART Grand Prix took seventh, and Rafael Câmara, also driving for Invicta, completed the points scorers in eighth. Câmara will have the chance to start from pole in the Feature Race, sharing the front row with Campos Racing's Red Bull junior, Nikola Tsolov.

The Feature Race is scheduled to begin at 09:25 local time on Sunday. For those eager for more details on Leon's impressive performance, a full report is available on the official website.
