Badoer Clinches First F3 Victory in Monaco

Brando Badoer secured his first F3 win with a commanding performance in Monaco, leading from start to finish. The Rodin Motorsport driver overtook pole-sitter Théophile Nael at the start and never looked back.

In the world of FIA Formula 3, a new star emerged as Brando Badoer celebrated his maiden victory on the challenging streets of Monte Carlo. Starting from the second spot on the grid, the Rodin Motorsport driver executed a flawless start, overtaking pole-sitter Théophile Nael before the first corner. From there, Badoer led all 27 laps, keeping Nael comfortably at bay to seal his first win in the category.

Nael managed to turn his season around a bit with a second-place finish, marking his first podium this year after a less-than-ideal start in Melbourne. Joining them on the podium was Freddie Slater, who secured third place for TRIDENT.

Meanwhile, Campos Racing had cause for celebration, with Ugo Ugochukwu and Ernesto Rivera finishing fourth and fifth, ensuring all three of their entries ended up in the top five. This performance helped Campos extend their lead in the Teams’ Standings.

In the Drivers’ Championship, Ugochukwu remains at the top with 43 points, but the battle is tight. Bruno del Pino is in second place, trailing by just one point, and Slater is right behind him. Badoer's victory propels him to fourth with 28 points, while Nael's podium finish nudges him up to fifth.
