De Vries and Kobayashi Triumph at Le Mans 24 Hours with Toyota

Nyck de Vries and Kamui Kobayashi, alongside Mike Conway, clinched victory for Toyota at the Le Mans 24 Hours. Their win marked Toyota's first triumph at the event in four years.

Nyck de Vries and Kamui Kobayashi, both former F1 drivers, teamed up with Mike Conway to win the 2026 Le Mans 24 Hours for Toyota. The trio drove the #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid to victory, finishing just 11 seconds ahead of the #20 BMW M Hybrid V8 crewed by Robin Frijns, Rene Rast, and Sheldon van der Linde. This victory ended a four-year drought for Toyota at Le Mans, and it was de Vries' first win at the storied endurance race. Kobayashi, who once graced the F1 podium with Sauber, celebrated his second win at Le Mans, while Conway also enjoyed his second triumph at the event. Finishing third was another Toyota car, driven by former F1 drivers Sebastien Buemi and Brendon Hartley, along with Haas reserve driver Ryo Hirakawa. The race featured 16 former F1 drivers, though not all were as fortunate. Sebastien Bourdais, Jack Aitken, Andre Lotterer, and Kevin Magnussen were among those who didn't reach the finish line this year.
