Joshua Duerksen clinched his second F2 victory of the season with a masterful performance at Spa. Starting from fourth, Duerksen navigated his way to the front, fending off a late challenge from Martinius Stenshorne.
Joshua Duerksen secured his second win of the F2 season by taking the checkered flag in the Sprint Race at Spa-Francorchamps. Beginning from fourth on the grid, the Invicta Racing driver quickly climbed to third by the end of the opening lap.
Duerksen then overtook Sebastian Montoya to move into second place. Halfway through the race, he capitalized on DRS to breeze past Martinius Stenshorne on the Kemmel Straight, seizing the lead. Despite a late-race Safety Car that bunched up the field, Duerksen held his nerve against his Rodin Motorsport competitor, especially during the final lap restart, to clinch victory.
Stenshorne had to settle for second, while Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy's Dino Beganovic claimed the final podium spot, finishing third for DAMS Lucas Oil. Nikola Tsolov continued his strong form, taking fourth for Campos Racing, ahead of championship contenders Alexander Dunne and Rafael Camara.
Roman Bilinski ensured a double points finish for DAMS by crossing the line in seventh, just behind MP Motorsport's Oliver Goethe.
