Rafael Camara, driving for Invicta Racing and a member of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy, has added another feather to his cap by securing his fourth pole position this season at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit. In a session that left no room for error, Camara and his competitors were granted just one lap to make their mark as the clock wound down. Camara delivered with a time of 1m 56.306s, just managing to stay ahead of ART Grand Prix's Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak, who was a mere 0.039s shy. Despite the slim margin, Inthraphuvasak can take solace in achieving his best-ever qualifying position in Formula 2.
Alexander Dunne of Rodin Motorsport had initially set the pace, but ultimately had to settle for third. Meanwhile, championship leader Nikola Tsolov took fourth place, followed by TRIDENT's John Bennett in fifth. Sixth place went to Dino Beganovic from DAMS Lucas Oil, while Camara's teammate, Joshua Duerksen, claimed seventh. Roman Bilinski, the second DAMS driver, took eighth, with Martinius Stenshorne and Noel Leon completing the top ten.
