F1 Academy has teamed up with Dirt Is Good, marking the first laundry partnership for the all-female series. Zoe Florescu is set to race as a Wild Card entry in Zandvoort, supported by this new collaboration.
The F1 Academy is embarking on a fresh partnership with Dirt Is Good, a major name in the laundry world, as it gears up for another exciting race weekend. This collaboration breaks new ground as Dirt Is Good becomes the inaugural Official Laundry Detergent Partner of this all-female racing series.
The partnership aims to showcase qualities like performance and resilience, kicking off during the second round in Montreal and featuring prominently at the fourth round in Zandvoort later in the season.
Adding to the excitement, 17-year-old Zoe Florescu will take the grid as a Wild Card entrant in Zandvoort, backed by Dirt Is Good. Florescu, who gained some attention during last year’s F1 Academy Rookie Test, currently competes in Spanish F4. She'll be behind the wheel of the #15 car, sporting a unique livery inspired by Wonder Wash Max, a notable product from Unilever.
Wonder Wash Max is being touted as Unilever's standout innovation of the decade, engineered for quick, efficient cleaning. Florescu’s #15 car number cheekily nods to the product’s 15-minute wash claim, appealing to the 85% of UK consumers who wish for faster laundry cycles.
Zoe Florescu expressed her enthusiasm about the opportunity, saying, "F1 Academy is about proving yourself in a highly visible, high-pressure environment. Every session counts, and you have to deliver when it matters most. I'm thrilled to be part of this moment and grateful for the support from Dirt Is Good as I take this next step."
Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 Academy, added her perspective, "The momentum behind F1 Academy has never been stronger, and the standard on track keeps rising. This is a platform where drivers are learning to perform under pressure, supported by the best teams and the right partners around them. Bringing Dirt Is Good into that environment is an exciting step as we continue to create meaningful opportunities and visibility for the next generation of talent."
Tati Lindenberg, Chief Marketing Officer of Unilever Home Care, remarked, "F1 Academy is a natural partner for Dirt Is Good. It reflects a world where magic and performance under pressure define success, while supporting a new generation of young women progressing at the highest level of the sport. With Wonder Wash Max, we've developed a product engineered for those same conditions: maximum cleaning performance even in 15 minutes. From the shortest cycle to the fastest lap, the same standard applies – performance that delivers when every second counts."
