Maciej Gladysz, a fresh face at ART Grand Prix, found himself on the top step of the podium after the Formula 3 Feature Race at Silverstone, courtesy of a reshuffle in the race results. Originally crossing the line in fourth place, Gladysz was handed the win after a series of penalties were dished out post-race.
Theophile Nael initially finished ahead but was slapped with a 10-second time penalty, which dropped him down the order. Campos Racing’s Ernesto Rivera and TRIDENT’s Matteo De Palo were also penalized, with De Palo facing disqualification for a technical infringement. These penalties cleared the path for Gladysz to celebrate his inaugural win in F3.
This series of penalties also promoted Freddie Slater and Ugo Ugochukwu to second and third places, respectively, adding a twist to the championship standings. PREMA Racing’s Louis Sharp claimed fourth, followed by TRIDENT’s Noah Stromsted, and Kanato Le from ART.
Further down the order, AIX Racing’s Yevan David secured seventh place, while Van Amersfoort Racing’s Hayu Yamakoshi and Rodin Motorsport’s Pedro Clerot took eighth and ninth. Rivera, after his penalty, was classified in tenth.
