Audi's Freddie Slater to Make F2 Debut with Invicta Racing in 2027

Audi's rising star, Freddie Slater, is gearing up for a new challenge in Formula 2 with Invicta Racing in 2027. The 18-year-old, who recently finished as the runner-up in Formula 3, will take the next step in his racing career under the guidance of the Audi Driver Development Programme.
Slater's rookie season in F3 was nothing short of impressive. He clinched a Feature Race victory, earned three pole positions, and stood on the podium eight times. Despite his valiant efforts, he was narrowly edged out of the championship by Ugo Ugochukwu, finishing just 14 points behind.
Having been the first to join Audi's Driver Development Programme, Slater is well-supported as he transitions to F2. Invicta Racing, known for their back-to-back championship wins in 2024 and 2025, offers a solid platform for Slater to hone his skills further.
Allan McNish, Director of the Audi Driver Development Programme, commented on Slater's move: "Advancing to Formula 2 is the logical next step for Freddie.
