Dino Beganovic Seizes First F2 Win of the Season in Madrid

Dino Beganovic delivered a flawless performance to secure his maiden F2 victory of 2026 at the Madring. The DAMS Lucas Oil driver led from start to finish, outpacing rivals by over seven seconds.

Dino Beganovic showcased his racing prowess with a commanding victory in the F2 Feature Race at the Madring, marking his first win of the 2026 season. Starting from pole position, the DAMS Lucas Oil driver never looked back as he navigated the race with precision, maintaining his lead through two Safety Car restarts.

Beganovic's impressive performance saw him cross the finish line more than seven seconds ahead of Rodin Motorsport's Alexander Dunne, who secured second place. Meanwhile, Hitech's Ritomo Miyata, fresh off a Sprint Race win, completed the podium in third.

Behind the leading trio, Invicta Racing's Joshua Duerksen finished fourth, followed by AIX Racing's Emerson Fittipaldi in fifth and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak of ART Grand Prix in sixth. MP Motorsport's Gabriele Minì, starting from a challenging 13th on the grid, made a series of noteworthy overtakes to claim seventh place. Martinius Stenshorne of Rodin Motorsport secured eighth.

Roman Bilinski initially finished in tenth but moved up a spot after Rafael Camara received a 10-second penalty for a collision with Ollie Goethe. This penalty allowed Invicta Racing's Bilinski to snag the final point in ninth.

Meanwhile, championship leader Nikola Tsolov found himself trailing at the back of the pack post-collision. As the F2 calendar now prepares to move to Baku for Round 12, slated for September 24-26, teams will be eager to build on their Madrid performances.
