Red Bull's major upgrade in Baku transformed Max Verstappen's season, leading to victories in Malaysia and Singapore. Verstappen praised the improved drivability and predictability of the RB22.
For much of the season, Max Verstappen wrestled with the Red Bull RB22, finding it a challenging beast. However, a significant upgrade introduced at Baku during Round 15 marked a turning point. This advancement set the stage for Verstappen to clinch victories in both Sepang and Singapore, changing the narrative of his season.
After his inaugural victory in Singapore last Sunday, Verstappen reflected on the positive trajectory the upgrades have sparked. "The last few races have been really positive for us," he commented. "Our car has taken a really nice step forward. It's just been more drivable and more predictable. That's what I wanted and needed from the car to find that last step to fight up front. And I hope that we can carry that momentum forward."
Verstappen's remarks underscore the critical role these technical enhancements have played in making the RB22 a more competitive machine. With improved handling, it seems Red Bull is now poised to capitalize on these gains in the races ahead.
