Racing Bulls' Liam Lawson is set to perform at the Garage Sessions in Austin, revealing his passion for music. This marks Lawson's first public performance, blending his racing career with his musical interests.
Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson is preparing to hit a different kind of stage at the United States Grand Prix, as he headlines the latest Racing Bulls’ Garage Sessions. Known for his musical inclinations, Lawson will perform in Austin, Texas, ahead of the racing action.
Lawson’s musical enthusiasm has been evident from his social media presence, but F1 fans rarely see this side of him. With his future in F1 uncertain, as F2 driver Nikola Tsolov eyes a seat, Lawson will seize this opportunity to blend his two passions. He will perform at the Inn Cahoots venue on Thursday, wielding a custom LL30 GS Mini Special Edition Taylor guitar, which sports his racing number and helmet art in pink and white.
"I’m thrilled to launch my partnership with Taylor Guitars at Garage Sessions," Lawson shared. "Guitar playing has been a significant part of my life since childhood, influenced by my dad’s band days. It feels like coming full circle, performing alongside my brother and childhood friends. Music helps me clear my head during the racing season, and I’m eager to connect with fans off the track."
Lawson will join a diverse line-up featuring both emerging and established artists such as Jonathan Capeci, Scoot Teasley, and Jess Farren. The evening will conclude with a performance by Drake Milligan, who headlined last year’s inaugural F1 Grid Gig at the United States Grand Prix.
