Palmowski Dominates Zandvoort for Fourth Win of the Season

Alisha Palmowski claimed her fourth victory of the season with a commanding performance at Zandvoort, further solidifying her lead in the championship standings. Alba Larsen and Nina Gademan completed the podium with strong drives of their own.

Alisha Palmowski was in fine form at Zandvoort, converting her fourth pole position into yet another race win in the F1 Academy Feature Race. This victory not only reinforced her position at the top of the standings but also marked her fourth triumph of the season.

Starting from pole, Palmowski managed to fend off a challenge from Alba Larsen, who kept her honest throughout the race. Despite Larsen's persistent efforts, Palmowski maintained her composure to claim the win. Larsen, who finished second, continued her impressive run of podium finishes, which has lifted her to fourth in the overall standings.

Nina Gademan ensured that MP Motorsport ended the weekend on a high note by securing third place, repeating her podium finish from the previous day. Meanwhile, Natalia Granada and Emma Felbermayr had a closely contested battle, with Granada holding on to fourth place and Felbermayr settling for fifth.

Further down the field, Megan Bruce and Rachel Robertson crossed the line in sixth and seventh, respectively. Ella Lloyd made a spirited charge from 11th on the grid to finish eighth, earning valuable points in the process. Payton Westcott, who had earlier clinched a win in the Reverse Grid Race, ended up ninth after a hard-fought contest, while Esmee Kosterman rounded out the top ten, making it a double points finish for LEGO Racing.

Palmowski now enjoys a comfortable 48-point lead over Felbermayr in the Drivers’ Standings, as the focus shifts to the next round at the Circuit of The Americas, scheduled for October 22-25.
