Privacy policy

FanPaddock publishes Formula 1 news, results, and stats for fans. We are not Formula 1, the FIA, or any team or driver, and we do not run user accounts. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@fanpaddock.com or through the contact page.

The public site does not ask you to create an account. Our hosting and security providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested so the site can be served and protected from abuse. If you email us, we use the address and message you send in order to reply.

We use a cookie to remember your language choice. When advertising is enabled, third-party ad networks may set their own cookies or similar identifiers to deliver, measure, and limit ads. Those cookies are controlled by the advertising partner, not by FanPaddock. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them may stop language preferences from sticking and may limit how ads are measured.

Pages may include ads from third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Those partners may collect or receive information from your browser, such as cookie identifiers, IP address, and general location, to show and report on ads. Google and other partners may use that data to personalize ads on this site and elsewhere, subject to their own policies.

You can manage personalized ads in Google Ad Settings and learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services in Google's partner-sites policy. Other networks linked from an ad have their own privacy notices.

Article photographs are collected through the official X Developer API from public posts on official team accounts. We store the image, the post id, and the text of that post so the photo can be shown with a story. We do not receive private X messages, and we do not ask you to sign in with X.

X processes those API requests under its own terms and privacy policy. A post or photo can disappear from X while a copy remains in our gallery until it is removed.

All rights in those photographs and posts belong to the respective teams and creators. FanPaddock does not claim ownership of them. Images are shown with the line "Source: Official Team Post via X" for news commentary on an unofficial fan site. That line is an attribution, not a licence from the team, X, or Formula 1, and it is not a claim that FanPaddock is an official press outlet.

If you are the copyright owner, or you are authorised to act for the owner, and you believe a photograph or other material on FanPaddock infringes your rights, email hello@fanpaddock.com with the subject "Copyright removal". Include the page URL, the image or material you want removed, and a statement that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner. We will review the notice and remove or disable the material when the claim is valid.

FanPaddock is an unofficial editorial project. Race reports, standings, and news are written for fans and are not official Formula 1, FIA, or team communications. Stats and results can change as sessions are updated. Nothing on the site is a statement by Formula 1 or the teams.
