Lando Norris Launches LN4 Fusion: A New Junior Racing Team
World Champion Lando Norris has unveiled LN4 Fusion, a new junior racing team aimed at nurturing future talent. The team will compete across multiple championships, including Italian F4 and Formula 3.
Lando Norris, the reigning Formula 1 World Champion, has embarked on a new venture by co-founding LN4 Fusion, a junior racing team set to make waves in the Italian F4 Championship, FRECA, and Formula 3. This initiative was announced at an event near Monza, offering a clear nod to the track's rich racing heritage.
Norris, fresh off his 2025 triumph with McLaren, has extended his contract with the team until 2030. However, his ambitions stretch beyond personal accolades. At 26, he is investing in the future of motorsport with LN4 Fusion, a team that will also run a UK-based Formula 4 testing program, gearing up for a potential championship entry.
The team has secured assets from AIX Racing, ensuring its participation in F3 through 2027. An application for an F2 entry is also in the works, reflecting the team’s growth ambitions. LN4 Fusion cars will sport a distinctive livery featuring Norris' signature fluorescent yellow and brand-defining blobs.
The team’s development is spearheaded by an investment group led by Dan Richards, who will focus on corporate and commercial strategies. The team will be managed by Rene Rosin, a seasoned motorsport figure with over 40 championship titles to his name. In the UK, Dan Hazlewood will oversee operations, bringing his extensive international experience to the table.
Alongside LN4 Fusion, Norris is launching the LN4 Legacy Programme. This fully-funded driver development initiative, managed by ADD Management, aims to provide young talent with the same level of mentorship and support that propelled Norris to F1 success. Julian Rouse will lead this program, emphasizing the importance of coaching, mentoring, and career support.
"I’ve been fortunate to have amazing people around me in my career, and I know that reaching Formula 1 requires more than just talent," Norris commented. "These projects are about creating the right environment and opportunities for young drivers to flourish."
Richards echoed this sentiment, highlighting the unique blend of expertise and ambition that LN4 Fusion represents. Rosin expressed his excitement about contributing to a vision-driven project, while Hazlewood emphasized the importance of preparation and development in nurturing young drivers.
Rouse added, "Talent alone isn’t enough; it’s the environment and support that unlock a driver's full potential. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive support system to help young drivers maximize their abilities, both on and off the track."
